CS Awards Day

CS Awards Day is a very special day for the Department of Computer Science. On this day, we honor those computer science & software engineering majors whose achievement at Texas State indicates a sustained level of excellence. Those students should certainly be proud of their accomplishments, just as the faculty and staff are proud of them. We also honor the departmental staff such as student workers, lab assistants, tutors and lab administrators for excellence in their respective duties.


Graduate Academic Excellence

Graduate Academic Excellence awards are made to graduate students in Computer Science who have completed at least 15 hours of graduate course work in Computer Science with at least a 3.75 grade-point average.


Undergraduate Academic Excellence

Undergraduate Academic Excellence awards are made to undergraduate Computer Science majors who have completed at least 30 hours of course work at Texas State with at least a 3.6 grade-point average and who have completed at least 9 hours of course work in Computer Science with a grade-point average of at least 3.6.


Undergraduate Academic Distinction

Undergraduate Academic Distinction awards are made to undergraduate Computer Science majors who have completed at least 30 hours of course work at Texas State with at least a 3.25 grade-point average and who have completed at least 9 hours of course work in Computer Science with a grade-point average of at least 3.25.
