Driving Directions

Driving Directions to the Computer Science Department Building(Nueces):

• Take “IH-35” to San Marcos
  
• Take “Aquarena Springs Drive” exit #206 in San Marcos
  
• Coming from Austin:
  Turn right onto Aquarena Springs Dr. (you will be heading west)
  
• Coming from San Antonio:
  Turn left (go under the freeway) onto Aquarena Springs Dr. (you will be heading west)
  
• Continue on “Aquarena Springs Drive”. You will pass the football stadium on your left just before you cross some train tracks. When you cross the tracks, the name of the road changes to “University Drive”.
  
• Continue on “University Drive” and cross the “San Marcos River” University Drive “angles” to the left after you cross the river
  
• Continue on “University Drive” until you reach the 3-way intersection. You will “turn right” at this intersection but you will still be on “University Drive”; if you kept going straight you would end up on “C M Allen Pkwy”
  
• Turn right off of University Drive onto the third street (LBJ Dr.) and drive on LBJ for two blocks until you reach “Wood Street”. A guard booth is located there just as you enter campus.
  
• Tell the guard you are visiting campus and ask where you are allowed to park. We recommend that you also ask for a campus map. Sometimes parking is at a premium so please allow a little time to locate a parking spot and then for walking to our building.
  
• Walking:
  If you park on LBJ Drive, continue on LBJ; we are located less than one block from the LBJ guard booth. The light beige brick building on your left is the Nueces Building (a small Paws N Go building is located in front of Nueces). Walk on the pedestrian mall to the front of Nueces and enter the glass doors. Continue up the stairs to the left or the right (or, there is an elevator on your left). The computer science office is located on the second floor, Nueces 247.
