CS 3468 - Embedded Computer Systems

Catalog Description:

A study of the architecture of embedded systems, microcontrollers, their peripherals, languages, and operating systems, and the special techniques required to use them.

Prerequisite:

Course Objectives:

1.

 To teach concepts of embedded systems, interface with instruments, A/D conversion.

2.

 Program development for a CISC MCU in assembly language; MCU organization.

3.

 Extensive technical writing.

Lab/Lecture Hours: 3 hours lecture, 2 hours lab. Writing intensive.
Offered: Frequently (typically both Fall and Spring).
