 CompSci Job Postings

There have been some additions to Job Postings. The officers of Sigma Chi Sigma get e-mails from multiple sources that inform us about jobs for CS students/graduates through out the year. We do our best to keep the postings up to date with the latest information available to us.

This semester, through out the month of October, there will be interviews and job/internship fairs held on campus. In previous semesters CS students had very low showing at these events, so jobs for CS majors went to other students. Don't let these opportunities pass you by! There will be jobs available for full time, part time, internships, graduating seniors, current students, masters, and undergrad students.

For more information check out our Job Posting page or go to Career Services.

 Recruitment Sessions

This week we will be holding information sessions to help bring in new recruits to EXE (Texas State's Computer Science organization). The meeting will only be about half an hour and refreshments will be provided. Two sessions will be held to help accommodate schedule conflicts:

Wednesday, August 29th @ noon
Thursday, August 30th @ 4pm

Both meetings will be held on the second floor of Nueces in the conference room.

EXE (Sigma Chi Sigma) is a Social and Academic organization that works along side the Computer Science department and Texas State University to provide a strong social and academic network to those interested in Computer Science during and after school. All those with a passion for computers are welcome to come to the info session.

Hope to see you there! If you can't make the meeting then feel free to contact any of the EXE officers or submit a 'Join Now' form (see Contact page). Current members are welcome to join as well.

 New Forum

Due to some issues with the last one, a new online forum has been created and is now ready to be used and filled up with everyone's posts. Members of the old forum will have to create a new user account before posting.
