Open Labs
Locations
DERR 231 - This open lab facility contains the Computer Science Linux Lab, Projects Lab and Human Computer Interaction Lab and is located on the second floor of Derrick Hall on the San Marcos campus.
MCS 590 - This open lab facility contains the Computer Science Windows lab, Software Engineering Lab, Networks Lab, and Tutoring Lab and is located on the top floor of the Math/Computer Science (MCS) building on the San Marcos campus.
AVRY 307 - This open lab facility contains the Computer Science Windows and Linux Lab and a Software Engineering Lab. It is located on the third floor of the Avery building at the RRHEC campus.

* Access to DERR 231 is through the 2nd floor Derrick outside doors on the east side of the building (side next to Taylor-Murphy). Access to MCS 590 will be granted only if facilities in DERR 231 are not able to meet your needs; in which case, a lab assistant on duty in DERR 231 will open the MCS 590 lab for your use.
CS labs will be closed between semesters. This schedule is also subject to change on holidays.
