Unrestricted Computing LabsTexas State ITS provides a list of unrestricted labs which are open to all students. Visit http://www.its.txstate.edu/unrestrict for more details. TurnitinTexas State ITS offers the turnitin service which is a plagiarism prevention software. Students can review their work before submitting it to their respective faculty. Visit http://www.its.txstate.edu/turnitin for more details. BlackboardBlackboard enables faculty to enhance classroom instruction or deliver distance learning by bringing their course materials, class discussions, assignments and quizzes to the Web. Students can view course and campus announcements in one location, access direct links to course web sites and groups, and view and create a personal calendar and "to do" lists correlated with individual course calendars. Blackboard provides tools to build and manage course web sites and online campus environments, without knowledge of HTML or other programming languages. Texas State's Blackboard system can be accessed as a web-based service at http://www.its.txstate.edu/blackboard. BobcatMailTexas State's BobcatMail e-mail system can be accessed as a web-based service at http://bobcatmail.txstate.edu/. Additional help and instructions on configuring other mail clients (like Outlook Express or Thunderbird) is available at http://www.css.txstate.edu/email/. ECommonsEcommons is an institutional repository, or a digital collection of the intellectual output of Texas State University - San Marcos. Its purpose is to centralize, preserve, index and provide open access to the knowledge generated by the university community. eCommons@TxState is a professionally maintained archive that gives the university scholarship increased visibility and accessibility over time. It provides a space for content that has been historically hard to share and preserve. Texas State's Ecommons system can be accessed at http://ecommons.txstate.edu/. Net LibraryNetLibrary provides access to your library's eContent collection. eContent is the digital version of books, journals, and database content. Streaming ServerMedia streaming provides a mechanism for you to allow users to access media content, such as movies or audio, while maintaining control over its distribution.
