About Me

Hi! This is Tarek Salah Uddin Mahmud. I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Texas State University, under the supervision of Dr. Guowei Yang and Dr. Anne Hee Hiong Ngu. I received my Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering (BSSE) from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2016.

Research

My research interests are in Mobile software engineering, Software evolution and maintenance and Software validation, varification and testing. I joined the Software Engineering Lab at Texas State University in 2019. Currently, I am working on mobile software engineering.

Texas State University

I started working here as an Doctoral Instructional Assistant. Currently I working as a teaching assistant for the course CS 3354 Object-Oriented Design and Programming (since Fall 2020). I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for the CS 2308 Foundations of Computer Science II, CS 5393 Software Quality (in Fall 2019) and CS 3393 Software Testing (in Spring 2020) courses.

January 2016 - July 2019

Brain Station 23 LTD

I started working at Brain Station 23 LTD as an intern. Later in January 1, 2017 I joined there as a software engineer. In this 3 years, I worked there with a lot of cutting edge technologies like - ASP.NET Web API, Microsoft SharePoint development, React Native, Ionic, NodeJS.
